- Are the Tradies AANT Employees?
AANT has access to a network of relationships with licenced, experienced tradespeople. The AANT Trade Assist team refers your job through to an appropriately qualified tradesperson who will deliver the service and perform the work for you at an agreed time.
- How does AANT Trade Assist assess and select the tradies?
Every AANT Trade Assist tradesperson is onboarded and vetted by experienced industry specialists to make sure they are accredited, licenced and insured.
We ensure that every tradesperson backed by AANT Trade Assist meets our high service standards and only deliver work that we are proud to stand behind.
- Is a tradie available in my area?
AANT Trade Assist is currently available in the Greater Darwin Area for repairs and general maintenance service. You can check whether we service your area by submitting an enquiry.
What's included:
- How much do I pay for the AANT Trade Assist service?
It costs $300 to book an AANT Trade Assist job; this includes the tradesperson’s call out fee, one hour of service and up to $20 of consumables. AANT Members will receive a discounted rate when booking their AANT Trade Assist job, paying $250 for the service.
Non-members can join as an AANT Member before booking their Trade Assist job in order to take advantage of the discounted rate, as well as access to a range of other AANT services, benefits and discounts. For more information, or to sign up for membership, click here.
- What can I expect from my AANT Trade Assist callout?
Once you have submitted your AANT Trade Assist enquiry, a member of our Trade Assist team will call you back within 24 hours (one working day) to discuss the work required and schedule your job with an appropriately qualified tradesperson.
You will receive a confirmation text notification once your tradie has been assigned, as well as a reminder text notification 24hrs prior to the appointment time and another text notification when your tradie is on the way with an estimated arrival time.Once your tradie arrives, they will conduct an on-site assessment of the work required to ensure that it can be completed within the one hour allocated. If your tradie identifies that additional work or materials are needed to resolve the issue, they will discuss what is required with you and check that you are happy with the changes before updating the cost of the job. Any revised charges must be signed off by the customer before the commencement of any work to ensure transparency regarding the cost of the job before payment is made.
Trade Assist services are payable at the competition of agreed work directly to the AANT Trade Assist tradesperson on-site at the conclusion of the job, once work has been completed and the job signed off. Only electronic payments will be accepted; no cash, no invoicing.
If your Trade Assist job requires specialised or further repairs, you will be offered a free, no-obligation quote for any additional work.
- Can the tradie assigned to my job look at multiple issues while they’re onsite?
Yes, they can. When booking your Trade Assist job, please outline to our Trade Assist team the issue(s) that you would like resolved. As part of the AANT Trade Assist service, you will be paying for one hour of your tradesperson’s time; therefore, if there are additional issues you would like your tradie to investigate while still on-site, they can accommodate these requests once the scheduled job is complete, with the remaining time of their allocated one hour.
Who is eligible:
- Do I Need to Be an AANT Member to Access Trade Assist?
No, you don’t. Anyone can take advantage of our AANT Trade Assist service, even if you are not a member.
However, AANT Members do receive discounted rates for the AANT Trade Assist service, as well as access to a range of other AANT services, benefits and discounts. For more information, or to sign up for membership, click here.
- Can I use AANT Trade Assist at my rental property?
Absolutely. You can call on AANT Trade Assist for any residential property that you own. You will just need to be there to accept, sign off and pay for all the work that is completed.
- Can I get AANT Trade Assist out to my commercial property?
Unfortunately, no. Currently we only service residential properties.
Booking or checking on a job:
- Can I update my job request?
If you have realised that the job you have submitted is incorrect or has changed, contact our AANT Trade Assist team on 0418 774 736 to let us know. We will then be able to confirm the changes with you and update the job booking.
- What if additional work is needed for the tradie to resolve the issue in my home?
If your tradie identifies that additional work is needed to resolve the underlying issue, they will discuss what work is required with you and check that you are happy with the changes before the cost of the job is updated.
- Is there a warranty for the work done on my home?
AANT Trade Assist carries a 12-month guarantee on labour and workmanship for completed works, commencing from the date that the work is complete.
Details of the warranties available for products will be provided with the products on completion of the job.
- Can I reschedule my job for a different day or time?
Yes you can, just get in touch with our Trade Assist team as soon as possible at 0418 774 736 to organise another time that suits you.
Payments & refunds:
- What are my payment options?
AANT Trade Assist services are payable at the completion of the agreed work directly to the attending AANT Trade Assist tradesperson by VISA or Mastercard. Only electronic payments will be accepted from customers; no cash, no invoicing.
- I’m already an AANT member, do I get a discount?
AANT Members will receive a discounted rate when booking their AANT Trade Assist job.
Non-members will pay $300 to use the AANT Trade Assist service, which includes call out fee, one hour of service and up to $20 of consumables. Members will pay a discounted rate of $250 for the Trade Assist service.

- What If I am not satisfied with the work completed?
If you are unhappy with the work or service provided, please let us know as soon as possible.

Alternatively, you can seek a call back in the satisfaction survey you will receive via email following the completion of your job.
- Do I get a refund for my deposit if I change my mind?
We may request a 50% deposit on larger home renovation/upgrade projects scheduled with AANT Trade Assist before the work begins.
If you cancel the job at any time before the day of the booking, your deposit will be refunded in full, unless the tradie has purchased specialist parts.
If you cancel the job on the day of the booking, a cancellation fee may apply to cover your tradie’s time and costs related to any specialist parts that have been ordered.
Terms & Conditions
AANT Trade Assist is accessible to both members and non-members within the Greater Darwin area.
We have access to a network of experienced, licensed and police checked home maintenance and repair tradespeople.
We refer your job request through to an appropriate tradesperson who will deliver the service and perform the work for you at an agreed time. They will also provide you with a (12) twelve-month warranty on workmanship.
