AANT’s Free Pass Card:
Getting home safely can be a big concern for teenagers. They may find themselves in a situation where their planned lift is no longer safe, but they are worried about calling home or getting into trouble.
AANT’s Free Pass Card helps teenagers and their parents, or another trusted adult, agree on a simple plan before they need it.
The card is a commitment from a designated driver to provide a safe ride home if a teenager finds themselves in a risky situation; no questions asked.
We encourage families to talk about the card together and discuss situations where a teenager might need to use it, such as when their planned driver has been drinking or they no longer feel safe getting home with them.
