What offers are available to AANT members?

There are three exclusive energy offers designed to suit different households:

1. Switch & Save (Electricity Only)

  • 10% pay-on-tim discount on your electricity tariff for 9 months
  • Ongoing standard pay-on-time discount after the initial period

2. Solar Saver (Electricity + existing solar)

  • 10% pay-on-time discount for 9 months

Who can access these offers?

All active AANT members in eligible areas (Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine, and Tennant Creek) can access the offers, subject to network availability.

Can different members at the same address each sign up separately?

No — if multiple AANT members live at the same address, only one member can apply the discount to that household’s energy account.

How do I access the offer?

Simply use the relevant promo code (composed of the offer code + your AANT membership number) when signing up with Rimfire Energy online or over the phone. Rimfire will handle the switch and setup for you. (Example: promo code AANT26-12345678)

Which offer code should I use?

Each offer (e.g. Switch & Save, Solar Saver, Full Solar Bundle) has its own code.
Make sure you use the correct one shown on the AANT website. Your promo code is made up of two parts:
Offer code + your AANT membership number
For example: AANT26-1234566

Are the discounts automatic?

The advertised electricity discounts are pay-on-time discounts, which means they apply when your bill is paid on or before the due date. 

How much can I save?

Savings depend on your household and chosen offer, but members will save the specified % providing your bills are paid on or before the due date.

How quickly do the savings start?

Your discount starts from the date your connection with Rimfire Energy begins, so you start saving straight away.

What happens after the discount period ends? 

You’ll move to Rimfire’s AANT standard ongoing pay-on-time discounts and tariffs, which will be clearly explained at sign-up.

Do I need a smart meter to access the offer?

Yes. To access the AANT member energy offers, a smart meter is required.

Rimfire Energy will confirm your meter type once your application has been received and advise.

Is switching to Rimfire Energy complicated?

No. The process is simple. Rimfire handles the transition from your current provider, ensuring a smooth and supported switch from start to finish. You’ll move to Rimfire’s standard ongoing discounts and tariffs, which will be clearly explained at sign-up. If we need any further information from you after sign up, Rimfire’s friendly customer service team will get in touch.

Will my power be interrupted when I switch?

No. Your electricity supply remains uninterrupted — only your retailer changes.
