In November, we had the privilege of attending the St John NT Excellence Awards at Parliament House. This is always a highlight on the Territory calendar and this year was no exception.
The 2025 ceremony was another inspiring evening, honouring the individuals who consistently go above and beyond to keep our community safe.
These annual Awards recognise the outstanding contributions of St John Ambulance Paramedics, Emergency Medical Dispatchers, Patient Transport Officers, Volunteers and support staff.
Everyday heroes who lead with compassion, professionalism, and unwavering dedication. Each recipient is celebrated not only for their skill, but for the values they embody: respect, integrity, collaboration and empathy.
AANT is incredibly proud to continue supporting this important event. AANT CEO, Simon Matthias, presented awards on the night and shared his admiration for the nominees and winners, saying:

AANT was proud to support this year’s event by sponsoring two major award categories and we extend our warmest congratulations to the deserving winners:
- Darwin Youth Division – Youth Division of the Year
- Alice Springs Adult Division – Adult Division of the Year
Nominations reached a record high, with 82 submissions across all categories a testament to the remarkable work happening across the Territory every day.
