COVID- 19 Update 25th March

Dear AANT Members & customers,

Much continues to change around us as Governments and societies respond to the changing situation of COVID-19.

As one of the Territories peak member organisations, the priority for AANT remains to support our staff, members and the commuity in this time of uncertainty.

As the COVID-19 situation evolves, AANT will keep making choices based on the best advice at the time. As this information changes, so will the choices we make. Our senior leadership team have been working hard to look at how we can protect our people and members in the ever changing environment whilst still maintaining the vital services we know you rely on us for.

Our road service patrols are still out on the road keeping vehicles mobile and helping our members and can be accessed
via our 24/7 call centre on 13 11 11.

As part of the enhanced safety measures we have implemented to help protect our service providers, members and the community, there is additional messaging on our phone system and our call centre staff will be asking specific questions in relation to COVID-19.

At this time our retail site is still open for business with addiitonal cleaning and safety protocols implemented. If we need to close the retail branch, members and customers will still be able to contact AANT via the phone on 8925 5901 as we have a contingency plan in place for staff to be able to work from home and receive/make calls. Members can also access a range of services on the AANT website aant.com.au. Our website will have all relevant updates on our services on an ongoing basis through these uncertain times and will also be the main source of information. You can aslo contact AANT via our online messenger chat.

I would like to thank staff, members and customers for their ongoing support. Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecidented event and we are very greatful for the health care workers, local communities and governemnts that are on the front line to contain this virus. How this situation plays out is uncertain but at this time we need to support each other and work our way through this no matter how hard it may be.
