AANT Council elects a new President

AANT welcomes Mr Trevor Cox as the new AANT President and Ms Cassandra Emmett as Vice President, following the 2020 - 57th AGM of the Automobile Association of the NT Inc.

Mr Cox brings a wealth of experience to AANT, he has served on the AANT council since 2014.  Trevor has a strong background in senior roles within tourism across Northern Territory and Queensland and will bring a renewed focus to developing new business opportunities and enhancing the customer experience.

 “As a Northern Territory member-based association, AANT exist to benefit its members and the broader community.  I look forward to serving our members as president” Mr Cox said.

“I am passionate about protecting and enhancing long- term member value”

Ms Cassandra Emmett will support Trevor and the council as the Vice President, Casandra has called the Northern Territory home since 1998, as a commercial and property lawyer she will continue to bring a strong focus in the areas of compliance and risk reduction.

Outgoing President David Loy will remain as a councillor for the Association.   The AANT team thank David for his 8 years as President, his stewardship over this period has ensured long term stability and strength for our members.    Under David’s watch AANT successfully secured the current Insurance partnership with – QBE and the 6 cents off a litre for members at United Petroleum.

 “AANT members save approximately $50,000 a month in fuel with the United Petroleum partnership”.  

David’s hard work and leadership in all areas including these two strategic partnerships will serve our members well into the future” said Mr Anthony Hill – CEO.
